Is The Public System Working?

The students of Costa Rica have problems with the English learning, because the education in Costa Rica has different factors that are affecting the process of education in their classroom. There are many factors that are affecting the education. Most of people think that the Ministery of Public Education is not working ,because the students are not learning. in particular the English education. We can mention in this case that are involve the system,teachers and students.

First,the System of English teaching that MEP presents to hi school is not functional,because to learn a second language is more than three lesson for week. they need more time to get something .Also the method that they use is the communicative approach a method that has more than 30 years working in MEP. The method in a little bit old ,so MEP what the should do is try to combine the method with something new that can be rewarding for teachers and students in general.

        Another important are teachers ,they are significant for the process of learn in this case English teaching, but like we know they could be one of the problem in the issue. There are something important that we as a teachers and any professional work is to be updated, because every change and we need to learn new things every day to improve in our works. In the case of English teachers is the same they need to look for the new things to improve in their teaching ,but the problem is teachers don't do that ,because they get the job and property in high school so why they need to study more if they cant be fired. The English of professor down and the level is going to decrease and students are not going to learn anything in the correct way. Also,we can talk about motivation that it is something important in the daily life of every single person. If professors don't have motivation ,how they are not going to do a good work it is impossible. Furthermore, classes in public school some time are very difficult, because we can have more that thirty students , and in some case we don't have all the material that we need to create a nice environment in which the professor and the students could feel comfortable.

         Students are the most important key of the process of learning, because we teach them ,so it is very important that they can learn and take advantage of everything that professor give in class .Students are not learning English,maybe is because they don't have the appropriate time in their high school to learn something, or maybe they don't tried to study in their house ,because learning a language it not just practice In class because we need to look for the time to practice at home,but in real life that doesn't happen because students have another things to do like expend time in their computer or just watch the t.v ,so they don't learn in the appropriate way. In addition,we can mention the motivation that they have,because I said before the environment in public high school in not the best,because there are a lot of students in a classification,also they cant practice the communicative part because it is difficult because of time ,and they the most of the time are working with books that that make the class boring.

       Finally, we can mention a lot of thing answering the question about if our public system is working. It is important to mention that everything Is related the system ,professor and students it is a circle. If somersetting is not working the rest in going to be in the same way. The problem is that The MEP is not doing something to improve or solve the problem that exist in the high schools .If they don't do anything to solve the problems and they have the most important ,so how is going to do something .It is very difficult to see how our public system is working because the one how are affected are the students.

A,B,C,D , Method

The a,b,c,d, method can help to write good adjectives? Most of language teachers know about how important is to write a good lesson plan. The objectives are the most important element of the lesson plan ,because they are the goal or the result of the lesson plan at the end of the class. The A,B,C,D Method is an excellent starting point for writhing objectives in this system you find ,A-for audience,B-behavior,C -for condition and D- for degree.

First of all,the audience is the first element of the method. The audience refers to the students. Who are you learners?We like a future teachers need to know about the students .What kind of people they are, the necessities of the students in which level they are. Also, it is very important to know that important fact ,because not all the students are equal. There are students of different levels or of different ages. It is important to know the audience in that way the teaching and the learning is going to be more easy for the teacher and the student. Furthermore, a normal class have a variety of students ,so it is important keep in mine the kind of audience that we have to prepare the correct objective for the lesson plan to create a good class.

The next aspect is B-behavior .In this we have to ask the question what?What do you expect them to be able to do? Also , we can talk about the performance. What are they going to do .It is very important to mention the verbs in this part of the method,because these are going to be the verbs that they are going to do during the class. For that reason it's important to choose the correct key verbs to express the desired behavior you want students to produce, for instance we need to use the Bloom's Taxonomy because we can identify the three domains of educational activities: the cognitive mental skills(Knowledge),Affective :growth in feelings or emotional areas(Attitudes), and Psycho motor :manual or physical skills(skills), so we can said the verbs are very important to create the behavior of the students ,for that reason we need to take care when we write the verbs in the lesson plan.

The third aspect is the C-condition. How ?Under what circumstances or context will the learning occur?It refers what are you give to your students .The teacher needs to give an example of what they are going to do ,so is important to mention what they have to do .What will the student be given or already be expected to know to accomplish the learning?Also,we can mention about the things that students need to finish the activities, and the material are very important .

The last aspect is the D-degree. How well?Does the learner get the credit or not?how much will be accomplished? How well or to what level does this learning need to be perfected? time?we need to think about how well the students is in the performance at the end of the class. Finally,the a,b,c,d method is very useful in terms of write adjectives because each letter has something important that we can apply in the lesson plan ,furthermore we can write excellent objectives with the a,b,c,d method.
